The update went fine. Earlier, before the update, I never had this problem. If the connect the phone in Mass Storage mode, it works. Also, OVI suite detects my phone via Bluetooth. Interesting: I've had the same problem since upgrading to v40 two months ago: 'mass storage' fine, but in other modes the phone is not recognised by the PC.
I posted a request here at that time but got no answers. My workaround is to use bluetooth for other transfers and I can still get OVI shop etc. Hi all failed connection in PC mode i have been fighting that same thing too but havent tried bluetooth yet as dont want to buy it just find out that it doesnt work either.
I have been trying to download a video and converted it but it still wont upload it to my phone in media either or image. Same problem here and the problem is the phone not PC. My PC was completely reinstalled recently and I still have the same problem, all the programs are reinstalled, except the stupid phone. Nokia should pay me for using this product not the other way.
